Tips on Buying Girls Drinks

"Can I buy you a drink?"

That's the age old pick-up line we've heard since we were old enough to watch any movie that took place in a bar. Makes perfect sense on the face of it, doesn't it? If you have to ask her permission to buy her a drink, then buying a drink in general must be a good idea right?

Well, it can be helpful, or it can be a waste of money; and believe it or not, it can actually hurt your chances with the woman you're talking to. Here's how to tell if you're moving the interaction along, or if you're just being used.If she outright says "Can you get me a wine?" in the first five minutes of talking to her, she's probably just using you.

It's rather rude to request that a stranger buy you something, isn't it. It should be your idea in the first place, and it should be after you've had some time to get to know each other and establish that there is something friendly going on.Another huge red flag is if she asks you to buy a drink for her friends.

This is an obvious sign that you're just a drink ticket and not a potential lover or boyfriend. Just chuckle at their boldness and just say "Nah, I'm cool." You don't have to logically give an answer. Just stay relaxed and look like you weren't fazed by what they said. However, if you two have been going back and forth, and getting along, you can go ahead and get her a drink.

Just make sure it's your own idea, and that you're just being friendly and generous, not trying to impress her. It can't be motivated by neediness.Buying a girl a drink can be a useful tool to move her away from her friends, as well. When you're talking to her, you can say "Let's go get a drink," and move her to the bar.

Once you hit the bar, you can say something like "Let's take a lap" and maybe find a place to for you two to sit and get to know each other without her having to be distracted by what her friends are doing.Keep in mind that you should not be buying all her drinks for the whole night. Even if you think she's getting so wasted that she has to go home with you, usually at the end of the night, her friends will pull her away, or she'll say "Thank you," and leave without even giving you her number.

As long as you use common sense, friendly and sociable to buy people drinks in bars, whether they're male or female. The best way to tell if you should buy is ask yourself ,"If I knew I couldn't have her, would I still be buying her a drink?" If the answer is yes, you're in the clear. Here's to your bar success!
