Top Online Dating Sites - December 2006

I was checking to ComScore yesterday to see what is the online dating trend for year 2007, and how the top dog players in this industry is doing.

Based on the report – the top dating site rankings are relatively unchanged. However, in general, member activity increased. These sites noted about 13% increase in visitors and visits (activity) since the week of December 10, 2006.

Could it be the holiday season that made us in a sentimental mood to be with someone we love? I believe these top players like Yahoo Personal and Match.com will still keep capturing more increase during the season of love – valentine in American.

Yahoo personal is my big favorite for one reason: very…very user friendly. And for the sole of this reason I agree with Comscore to put YahooPersonal on TOP. But Yahoo Personal was beaten up by Lavalife in Canada. Could it be Lavalife’s payment structure won the hearts of the Canadian?
